Simonsig Cape Fox Chardonnay
An oak-matured Chardonnay from a single vineyard on the Simonsig estate in Stellenbosch, named after the Cape fox that's often spotted around the vines. Ripe yellow fruit gives it richness and a lovely mouthfeel.
Tasting notes
Stone fruit and delicate florals on the nose, with a hint of beeswax and light smoky, spicy notes from French oak. The palate is smooth and creamy with fresh, restrained acidity. Easy to enjoy.
Food pairing
Bobotie, peri-peri chicken, Cape Malay seafood curry or a cheese board.
